Liver Cancer Treatment

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

The organ that cleanses the bloodstream by flushing out the toxins from our body is the liver.

For treating liver cancer, the traditional method would be for the patient to undergo chemotherapy. However, some disagree to chemotherapy as they believe that the patient is already very ill and it stops the body from healing itself in the natural way.

In line with that thought, there are now alternative ways to treat liver cancer. Holistic medicine’s approach to disease is that the entire body must be nourished first then nutrients and other medicine plants can attack the liver cancer.

Here are some examples of alternative methods to treat liver cancer:

  • Drink at least 1/2 – 1 gallon of pure water every day to help flush the liver toxins.
  • A combination of herbs developed by a nurse in 1935 is the Essaic tea. The nurse treated her mother who has liver cancer and the mother has fully recovered after 10 days treatment. An herbalist can help you find your correct dosage as these herbs are very potent.
  • Said to target the liver cells and produce cleansing effects on the liver is the Dandelion Root.
  • Eating raw organic fruits and vegetables can help fight cancer as they contain antioxidants. Grapes are very much recommended because they are good detoxifiers.
  • Bee pollen are claimed to help a patient recover from untreatable liver cancer.
  • Vitamin D3 are said to stop liver cancer spread. The recommend dose is 4000-600 IU a day.
  • Coffee enemas are powerful detoxifiers in addition to other treatments.

If you plan to pursue the use of alternative methods, it would still be best to consult your doctor to help evaluate whether they can be used or not.
